It is true that when we are surrounded by wholesome energy, we will become wholesome. On the other way around, when we are surrounded by un-wholesome energy, we will become un-wholesome. This situations are conditioned.

It means that we have the ability to create the condition in our reality. We have the choice to be wholesome or to be un-wholesome. Regardless what energy we are surrounded with.

Born as human being makes us be the highest being amongst other living being. We have the capability to learn, adapt and understand the depth of teaching in order to find the essence of life beyond the basic instinct of survival. This ability makes us supreme, that we must carry the obligation to learn and attempt to our self-evolution.

“There is nothing wrong with Dhamma”

Venerable Sayadaw U Rajinda

We alone may have the experience to learn and explore to the highest stairs of our ego, or dive down to the deepest cave of our heart. Life is a strained thread stretching from tomorrow to yesterday.

– A man and a kitten –

Sometimes it is not easy to be kind. Especially when the heart has been broken and disappointed. And it is easier to say then to do with all the things we have learned, yet the heart is still not healed.

When the mind is not tamed, it is easy for the mind to be wild and uncontrolled. And this can become the source of our own sorrow. Thus, the practice of meditation and contemplation is the first step we must take in order to understand the depth of our own wisdom.
